New Zealand Census of Womens Participation 2006
The New Zealand Census of Women’s Participation 2006 looks at the status of women in leadership roles across a variety of sectors, including public companies, state sector bodies, universities, law and the judiciary, media, trade unions, politics, defence forces and school boards of trustees.
The Census is a benchmarking tool produced every two years by the Human Rights Commission and the New Zealand Centre for Women and Leadership at Massey University.
This year’s report includes an ‘Agenda for Change’, which identifies a range of strategies to help increase women’s participation in leadership roles.
