Areas of public life
The areas of public life are set out in the Human Rights Act. They are:
- Government or public sector activities
- Access to public places, vehicles and facilities
- Access to education
- Employment
- Industrial and professional associations, qualifying bodies and vocational training bodies
- Partnerships
- Provision of goods and services
- Provision of land, housing and accommodation
- The Act also has special provisions that apply to discriminatory laws
