Political opinion includes the lack of a particular political opinion or any political opinion.

Exceptions

In employment (includes pre-employment and advertising):

  • crew of non-New Zealand ships and aircraft
  • work involving national security
  • domestic work in a private household
  • employment of a political nature

In accommodation:

  • shared residential accommodation
