Human rights and the Government

The Bill of Rights/Human Rights team of the Ministry of Justice has developed a human rights section for its website.

This section offers a wealth of information on and various documents produced about New Zealand’s international human rights obligations as well as our domestic human rights legislation.

The Human Rights section is a work in progress and more information and documents may be added at a later stage.
