Projects 2011
Social Justice Week 2011 – On a level playing field

Caritas will produce resources for the Catholic Church’s Social Justice Week  from 11-17 September, which this year takes the theme “On a level playing field”, considering matters of inequality, community and the common good.

Relationships with Māori Catholic communities

Caritas will continue to apply the consultation policy with Te Rūnanga o te Hāhi Katorika to the production of resources, and will continue to develop our relationships with Māori Catholic communities.

Diversification of Caritas resources

Caritas has prepared Lenten reflection material in Tongan, Samoan and Tokelauan languages, in response to requests from those communities.

Day of Prayer for Refugees and Migrants

Caritas will produce resources for Catholic parishes to encourage participation in the Day of Prayer for Refugees and Migrants, which takes place during Refugee Week.
