Counties Manukau Multicultural Council

The Counties Manukau Multicultural Council is an incorporated society primarily made up of migrant ethnic communities.

It is a voluntary democratic organisation with elected office-bearers who meet monthly. The AGM is in April when activity and financial reports are presented and discussed. The Counties Manukau Ethnic Council is an affiliate organisation to the NZ Federation of Ethnic Councils.

Project 2011

Franklin Multi-Cultural Festival

Counties Manukau Ethnic Council  again joined forces with others to hold a multicultural festival on Sunday 27 March in Pukekohe to coincide with the nationwide Race Relations Day celebrations. Features  included a Year 1-8 school sport competition from 9.00-12.00, food stalls, raffles, children’s activities and a festival of song and dance from 12.30-2.00. Over $12,000 was raised for Puni School.
