Fiesta Pilipinas is the largest Filipino Food, Cultural and Trade Show in New Zealand held annually in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Hamilton.

HALO HALO NZ – The Filipino Festival


This year the theme of Fiesta Pilipinas 2011 is ‘Halo Halo NZ’ (Halo Halo is a Filipino dessert which has layers of tasty food in it). The show is now into its 5th year.

 Halo Halo NZ will feature a range of Filipino Food, Products and Services.

There will also be a Food Festival alongside, giving visitors a chance to get a taste of the Philippines.

Last but not least is an exciting glimpse into Philippine culture. An additional treat this year will be a Preview of  ‘Halo Halo – The Musical’ which starts its season in October.

‘Halo Halo NZ’ is a musical exploration of the process of transition, settlement and acculturation of Filipino migrants in New Zealand.

The musical is a joint effort between Filipino singers, dancers, fashion designers and models, musicians, directors, choreographers, stage managers, set designers and audio-visual technicians.

It is organised by the Halo Halo NZ Trust.
