Humm FM (106.20), is Auckland’s 1st global Indian & Asian FM station. The station aims to meet the aspirations and cultural needs of the South Asian Community at large. Humm FM believes in integration as a two-way process and aims to inform and empower its listeners to appreciate the diverse and culturally rich city they live in. All of this can be achieved through – Music and Information; as music knows no boundaries and information empowers people to make informed decisions.

Humm FM is a commercial radio station coming LIVE from the Auckland’s Sky Tower providing a platform to the Indian & Asian voices and community issues.

Promote cultural diversity and integration
  • Celebrate the Music of various ethnic groups on special occasions
  • Have language experts talk about the languages that are spoken across NZ
  • Celebrate Kiwi Music through our broadcasts
  • Have advisors / contributors to give advice on a variety of topics including integration into the NZ education system, jobs, child psychology, health and well-being, etc.

Humm FM would like to be part of/contribute to the Human Rights Commission to help in forwarding their programmes to achieve the common goal of promoting Ethnic Diversity in New Zealand.
