Mangere Community Law Centre

The Mangere Community Law Centre was opened as a non-profit organisation devoted to meeting the unmet legal needs of the Mangere community.

The Centre provides education, information and representation in a broad range of legal areas, including: family law matters, conveyancing/refinancing, 1st home purchases, minor criminal and traffic matters, making a will or power of attorney, employment law, immigration matters, consumer and debt issues.

“the Law in a Nutshell”

The Mangere Community Law Centre provides an 8 week legal education series 4 times a year. It is a perfect opportunity for community organisations and the public to get an overview of their rights and responsibilities under the law. Topics include: Family Law, Police & Your Rights, Human rights, employment law, Making a Will, Buying A House, Tenancy and Consumer Law.

“the Law in your Workplace”

In its bid to make the law accessible, the Law Centre delivers tailor-made legal education sessions to community organisations in the Mangere region.
