North Shore Multicultural Council

The North Shore Multicultural Council is an affiliate of the New Zealand Federation of Multicultural Councils, and is based on the North Shore of Auckland City . It has a committee which is elected annually to  represent the diverse communities of the North Shore locally and nationally in the Federation. The current President is Ray Annamalai.

Race Relations Day

The Council organised a BBQ for members on Sunday 20 March to mark Race Relations Day. Those attending included members from the Indian, Malaysian, Saudi Arabian, Korean, Croatian, Maori and other communities. Principal Race Relations Adviser Sam Sefuiva represented the Human Rights Commission.
