Projects 2011
One to one English and reading training

The programme may be delivered by peer mentors or by trained teachers.  The programme is for those who are marginalised in society.  It is for those with language and text processing needs.  This includes people form a Non English Speaking background- who have low level of English oracy and literacy or who are dyslexic.

The library is a revolving one.  It is a graded, authentic library.  The learning technique was made famous by the late Jim Laughton.  However the new theory attached to it means that the initiation of this programme will have far0reaching implications and effects.

The English and Reading [E.R.] programme

The English and Reading [E.R.] programme will unify learning systems for Non English Speaking Background, adult, and dyslexic literacy . The programme is suitable for people of all ages . This programme lets schools, workplace and community providers work together easily .

The E.R programme can get funding. Results are measured against national benchmarks
In partnership with others ReadSpeak Ltd has the resources to support large numbers of students from a single library resource. The English and Reading programme saves money because people learn fast. Learners like it and learn better- than more general programmes.

Everyone is given an equal chance. One to one tuition lets learners catch up quickly. Cultural groups can work together and teach each other-as long as there is a range of ability.
