South Canterbury Filipino Association Inc.

The South Canterbury Filipino Association Inc. was formed in 2004.

Objectives:

  • To strengthen unity and foster camaderie amongst the Filipinos, Filipino descents and their families, friends and supporters who are primary based in South Canterbury.
  • To actively network with other Filipnos all over New Zealand as well as other countries.
  • To actively promote the best Filipinos talents, values, culture and tradition while implicitly imbibing the best of what New Zealand. most especially, South Canterbury can offer in terms of educational, technological, cultural and personal advancement.

Philippine Independence Day Celebration

The South Canterbury Filipino Association Inc celebrated  Philippine Independence Day  with  a Pot-Luck-Dinner event on Saturday 9 July at the West-End Hall of Maltby Avenue. The theme of the night is  ”Dance, Dance, Dance ”
