Te Kura Whakapumau i te Reo Tuturu ki Waitaha (Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Waitaha)

Te Kura Whakapumau i te Reo Tuturu ki Waitaha (Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Waitaha). Nga Whainga me nga Wawata o Te Kura Whakapumau: We assert that the teaching and learning environment is a happy and stimulating experience for, children, whanau and all other participants. We aim to maintain a high quality Te Aho Matua educational programme for primary and wharekura students. We strive to expose students to a board and balanced education through the medium of Matauranga Maori, te reo me ona tikanga. We strive to become independent life long learners. To foster achievement and success for all students at all levels. We encourage students to: Whai Koha – Respect, Manaaki Tangata – Care for others, Maramatanga – Understanding. These are but a few of the goals and aspirations we have for our tamariki. The main one of course is to strive for Tino Rangatiratanga – Self Determination.
