Projects 2009
Tamariki Kahukura: Rainbow programme in schools

Tamariki Kahukura is a collaborative school-based programme for children aged 9-12 years to support refugee children and their families.

Youth media project

A 14 week programme has been set up for refugee background young people in collaboration with the ChangeMakers Refugee Programme. The programme is for youth (14 to 24) to learn in an interactive experiental way all about print, radio, television and computer media.

Home safety

This programme will take home safety messages to refugee background families. It will use real situations in the home showing the safe and unsafe behaviours in the home.

Culturally and Linguistically Diverse training

CALD – Culturally and Linguistically Diverse training- is for health and social service professionals who have significant number of refugee background people as clients or patients.
