New Kiwi Women Write Their Stories

Auckland Council’s Arts and Culture North Department, Albany Newcomers Network and Albany CoCo Incorporated, would like to invite women living in or around the Albany area who are new or established New Kiwis, to participate in an exciting new workshop series.

Over four weeks (one afternoon per week) between 12 March  and 14 April , you will have the opportunity to develop your writing skills with professional guidance from an established female writer. These workshops will be led by playwright and poet, Renee Liang, along with award winning poet, Janet Charman, and novelist and graphic artist, Sarah Laing.

A variety of writing styles and interests will be catered for, including poetry, short story and essay writing. Workshops will be held in English.
