Projects 2012
Bilingual Community Work

This team are people from refugee communities who work across all areas of service delivery, providing cultural and linguistic support to staff and clients.

Social work/Youth work

These teams work with the bilingual community work team to provide professional social work/youth work support to resettling refugee and migrant individuals and families. The services aim to provide an appropriate service response to people presenting to the service, or being referred for support by other social service/health/education providers. The service also provides a specific mental health response for refugee clients requiring this..

Youth Community Development

  • annual youth camp.
  • holiday and sports activities.
  • workshops on issues relevant to young people.
  • other activities requested by the Youth Reference Groups.

  • peer health education programme for and with refugee communities.
