English Language Partners Dunedin

The main focus of English Language Partners Dunedin is to provide English Language and settlement support to immigrants and refugees through a variety of programmes. They offer one-to-one home tutoring, English groups, English for employees and literacy and numeracy programmes. Volunteer tutors are trained and then matched with an adult immigrant or refugee who is then assisted with day to day English language for an hour a week, usually in the learner’s home. We have about 160 tutors in Dunedin.

Our Mission Statement is:

To provide English language skills and social support for the effective resettlement of adult refugees and immigrants in Aotearoa New Zealand.
