Currently MMC represents 30 different ethnic and the membership is steadily growing. The Centre is located in the brand new Community House complex together with 14 other community agencies on 77-85 King Street, Palmerston North. Manawatu Newcomers Network is an excellent program which works hard to provide a social support system to migrants and newcomers through a number of projects and activities to enable and assist them to settle comfortably. We also have a huge client base of refugees who derive much benefit in terms of learning English, job search, employment project, developing personal skills, driving licenses, mothers and women’s groups etc. The Ethnigram and the Newcomer’s Newsletter are produced monthly and widely circulated.
