Multicultural Services Centre

The Multicultural Services Centre (MSC) is a “one-stop-shop” providing support to refugee and migrant communities in Wellington. We aim to assist these individuals and communities become valuable contributors within the multi-ethnic fabric of New Zealand. Our partner organisations are six not-for-profit, non government organizations. All provide a range of professional services for Wellington refugee and migrant communities.

Servicing Wellington’s migrant and refugee communities

The Multicultural Services Centre works to:

• provide reliable and informed services
• expand community networks with organisations, agencies and ethnic and other communities
• promote positive race relations
• work to promote and facilitate unity in diversity in Wellington.

The Centre supports Race Relations Day, Waitangi Day, Chinese New Year, Matariki, World Refugee Day, Maori Language Week, and the New Zealand Diversity Forum.
