The Asian Network Inc. (TANI)

The Asian Network Inc (TANI) is a pan-Asian community organisation working to improve quality of life and well-being for Asian New Zealanders. TANI has been in existence for over ten years. TANI is committed to developing strong and healthy Asian communities in New Zealand through advocating for and promoting the welfare of these communities and their active participation in policy making. In 2002 the Asian Network Steering Committee (set up by Auckland City Council) registered as an incorporated society and now TANI is registered as charitable trust under Charities Commission.

Projects 2012
10th Asian Forum

TANI organises an Asian Forum every year. Our purpose is to provide a forum for interested parties to discuss any challenges/solutions to the issues that are topical to the Asian population. In 2012 TANI will hold their 10th Annual Asian Forum on Wednesday 4 April 2012 at the Fickling Centre in Three Kings. The theme of the forum is “Asian Health & Wellbeing: Physical, Mental and Intellectual”.

In this forum, we will be exploring the strengths of Asian communities to respond to their health & wellbeing needs ho should take part? Asian youth and all those who want to identify their needs, challenges, aspirations and dreams. Entry is free.
