Auckland Inter-Faith Council

The Auckland Inter-Faith Council is an incorporated voluntary non-profit association which works towards:

  • Representing the diversity of religious traditions
  • Creating a forum for inter-faith dialogue
  • Fostering mutual appreciation and good relations
  • Promoting the elimination of religious prejudice.

Membership is open to people of all faiths who accept its principles. It is run by an elected Committee, which currently includes people from the following religious groups and faith communities:

  • Anglican
  • Baha’i
  • Buddhist
  • Catholic
  • Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon)
  • Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (Unification Church)
  • Hindu
  • Jewish
  • Muslim
  • Sikh

AIFC Public Talks

The Auckland Inter-Faith Council will continue its interfaith focused public talks and events. Each evening someone or a panel of people with an interesting story will speak from a particular faith perspective.
