Radio New Zealand interview: Dr. Jackie Blue

January 23, 2017

Equal Employment Commissioner, Dr Jackie Blue was interviewed on Radio New Zealand on Saturday morning about her hopes, aspirations and plan of attack for the coming year.

Particularly: driving for pay equity following the Joint Working Group on Pay Equity Principles recommendations being accepted by the Government, pushing for legislation that would require businesses with over 250 employees to publish and address their gender pay gaps, encouraging political parties to strive for greater diversity within their ranks, supporting proposed legislation around family violence policies and encouraging businesses to adopt them, and driving great outcomes for some of our most marginalised women.
