The Yaniv Janson Project

Yaniv Janson: Inspiration

Interactions with nature, family and friends have a strong influence on Yaniv's work. His paintings offer a commentary on societal issues using bold colours but always permeate with deeper, hidden and meaningful messages for the audience.

"I like the details, the bits in life that often we forget to look at. Sometimes the titles to my paintings tell you what it is I am thinking."

Yaniv makes regular trips to international galleries and museums to observe the techniques and colours used by contemporary artists as well as leading masters from various artistic eras of the past, such as Claude Monet and Edouard Manet.

His favourites are the Louvre in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and the Guggenheim Museum in Los Angeles (U.S.A).
