Economic, social and cultural rights

Economic, social and cultural rights provide people with equal opportunities. Our work in this area is as diverse and dynamic as society itself, and our work can take many forms – from making submissions on legislation that affects human rights in a social context, such as marriage laws, to providing information and resources on what to do if you think you have been discriminated against because of your gender, age, health or financial status. Our work also involves access to adequate housing and democratic representation.
